Overview

Designed a packaging system for MISSION’s foam fender product line that balanced technical performance messaging with a refined, product-led aesthetic. The packaging highlighted the functional advantages of foam fenders while visually echoing the design and quality of the product itself—positioning the fenders as both a smart and beautifully engineered solution.

Challenge

The foam fender line needed packaging that clearly communicated its technical benefits while standing apart from more traditional, utilitarian fender products. The system had to feel premium and considered, reinforce product differentiation, and scale across variations within the line without losing clarity or cohesion.

Design Approach

Product-Led Visual Language
Packaging design echoed the form, materials, and intent of the foam fenders themselves, reinforcing the idea that the product was purposefully designed—not just functional.

Illustration & Technical Storytelling
Custom illustrations showed the foam fenders in use on watercrafts, while technical drawings highlighted key features and benefits, helping communicate both beauty and practicality.

Scalable System
Built a flexible packaging framework that could be extended across the foam fender line while maintaining consistency and clarity.
